The number of photovoltaic installations on Polish companies is increasing year on year.
This is not surprising, as this type of investment is all about saving money and becoming independent from the ever-increasing price of electricity. Finances are not the only benefit, photovoltaics change the way a potential customer perceives a company.

Annual electricity consumption 42 000 kWh
Electricity pricing: 0.7 PLN/kWh
Annual electricity costs: PLN 29,400
Calculation of the size of the photovoltaic installation: opex 70%, own consumption: 50%. To have 42,000 kWh available, an installation of 42 kW/0.85 = 49.4kW must be installed
Cost of installation 49.4kW: £145,000
Payback time 145,000 / 29,400 = 4.93, or just under 5 years
However, given the recent increases in electricity prices for companies this time will be even shorter.
